I am not sure why this is sideways but I think you can still get the dance from it. This is what we learned on the first day of class.

Welcome Back

I decided it is time to start blogging again :)  This year is off to a great start.  Just a reminder that costume deposits are due by Oct 1st.  Now is a great time to buy spray glitter for your hair at Walmart.  You will love this come competition time and it will only be at beauty supply stores then and will cost you a lot :)

Thanks for a great Year!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for such a great year. This summer we will be having a float in the 4th of July parade and hopefully performing at the Box Elder County Fair.  I will keep you posted.   Registration forms will be sent out about the end of July, first of August. Last year I had a waiting list for some classes so register early.  Happy Summer!!!

Recital

The recital is Friday, May 10th.  It will be held at the Honeyville church at 6:30pm.  You are welcome to invite anyone you want.  The dancers have worked really hard so it should be a good one.  Please have your dancer there dressed and ready by 5:30pm.  You will not be allowed into the gym until 6 pm.  Thanks for such a good year.

Dance times and what to bring for LAGOON

Now the good stuff.  Below is arrival times, dance times, what to bring, etc..... If you have any questions, please call me.  The highlighted times are the times that your child has taken dance all year on either Monday or Thursday. 

!!!!!Please remember that I will not always be at the meeting place when you are set to arrive.  I have a lot going on that day, but I will show up, don't get nervous :) 

11 AM Monday

Jocelyn and Lily - arrive at 8:30.  Freestyle is at 9:30 at the Oak Pavillion

Team Arrival Time  (This does not mean the time that you pull into the Lagoon parking lot.  This means the time you are at the designated meeting spot)

10:30 am at the Oak Pavillion (see map) This is the smallest pavillion so it should be easy to spot us.

Performance Time - 11:34 am Sesame Street

*After you perform here we need to all go to the Meadow Pavillion to warm up for the next dance. (Meet at the back of the pavillion.

                                   12:30pm Peanut Butter and Jelly

Please bring: white tights, clogging shoes, white leotard, Pink tutu, hair piece.

Hair: Curly ponytail.  If hair is short just have it down and curly with the hairpiece in. Hairpiece should be on child's left side.

                                                                                                

4PM - Mini Miss

Malorie, Macie, and Breein - Arrive at 8:30.  Freestyle time is 9:30 at the Oak Pavillion

Hair : Two messy buns.  Flower should be on child’s left side

5PM - Juniors

9:30 am at the Meadow Pavilion (see map) I am usually in the south east corner area.

Performance Time - 10:30 am Drive

                                   11:20 am Kids in America

Please bring: Clogging shoes, tan tights, headband, tutu, zebra top.

Katlyn and Maddi  - Novice solos arrive at 8:45am at the Oak Pavillion.  Performance is 9:45 am.

 6PM Seniors

Please bring:  Camo pants, black top, tan nylons, skirt, flowers ( you will get these at dance this week) clogging shoes.

Hair: Messy Bun to the back.  Bangs cannot be in your face.  I will pin them back.

Kenzi, Anna, Tori, Cambry - Intermediate Solos start at 1:20 at the Oak Pavillion.  Arrive by 12:30.

Hanna and Katie - Advance Solos start at 2:30 at the Oak Pavillion.  Arrive by 1:30.

Tawnya and Emma - Beginning solos are at 5:30 at the Oak Pavillion. *** This is tricky because your team is dancing at the same time.  They will not hold solos but will hold team dances so just meet at 4:30 at the meadow pavillion and we will go over to Oak for you to do solos.

Hanna and Cambry Duet:  Arrival Time 11:30pm Oak Pavillion.  Performance time is 12:30pm

Katie and Anna Duet:  Arrival Time 1pm Oak Pavillion. Performance time is 2 pm . 

Chalisse and Em: Arrival Time 11:20 am Oak Pavillion. Performance time is 12:20 pm
