Thanks so much for all your patience with me being sick. I will credit my Wednesday classes for the week they missed. Welcome Back

I decided it is time to start blogging again :)  This year is off to a great start.  Just a reminder that costume deposits are due by Oct 1st.  Now is a great time to buy spray glitter for your hair at Walmart.  You will love this come competition time and it will only be at beauty supply stores then and will cost you a lot :)

Thanks for a great Year!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for such a great year. This summer we will be having a float in the 4th of July parade and hopefully performing at the Box Elder County Fair.  I will keep you posted.   Registration forms will be sent out about the end of July, first of August. Last year I had a waiting list for some classes so register early.  Happy Summer!!!

Recital

The recital is Friday, May 10th.  It will be held at the Honeyville church at 6:30pm.  You are welcome to invite anyone you want.  The dancers have worked really hard so it should be a good one.  Please have your dancer there dressed and ready by 5:30pm.  You will not be allowed into the gym until 6 pm.  Thanks for such a good year.

Now the good stuff.  Below is arrival times, dance times, what to bring, etc..... If you have any questions, please call me.  The highlighted times are the times that your child has taken dance all year on either Monday or Thursday. 

!!!!!Please remember that I will not always be at the meeting place when you are set to arrive.  I have a lot going on that day, but I will show up, don't get nervous :) 

11 AM Monday

Jocelyn and Lily - arrive at 8:30.  Freestyle is at 9:30 at the Oak Pavillion

Tawnya and Emma - Beginning solos are at 5:30 at the Oak Pavillion. *** This is tricky because your team is dancing at the same time.  They will not hold solos but will hold team dances so just meet at 4:30 at the meadow pavillion and we will go over to Oak for you to do solos.

Hanna and Cambry Duet:  Arrival Time 11:30pm Oak Pavillion.  Performance time is 12:30pm

Katie and Anna Duet:  Arrival Time 1pm Oak Pavillion. Performance time is 2 pm .

Lagoon Information

The free walk on tickets for your dancer have to be redeemed at the ticket window.  You can not do those online.  Lines can be long so plan accordingly.

You will each be given a sheet of tickets for Lagoon.  This sheet has one discount parking ticket, 1 free walk on ticket for your dancer.  Also on the sheet is the ride ticket and the spectator ticket.  Those tickets are good for up to 8 people.  If you have more than 8 going you can just copy the tickets for more or ask me.  You can also copy the parking ticket.  Just a reminder that ONLY YOUR DANCER IS FREE TO GET ON.  YOU MUST PAY EITHER A WALK ON FEE OR BUY A RIDE PASS TO WATCH THIS EVENT.

No Dance Today

Hey Everyone,

Classes are canceled for Today, March 21st.  I am suffering from my yearly round of laryngitis and have no voice to teach.  On top of that this cold is about killing my head so I think it would be safe to just resume class next week.  I will be sending out an email and a text to try and reach everyone.  So sorry :( I am bummed not to see your cute kids this week.

Thanksgiving Point Information

PLEASE READ THIS ALL.  Here are the times that your child will perform.  Keep in mind that you will need to be there an hour before performance time DRESSED AND READY TO GO!. Arrival Time is in RED.  Performance Time is in Black. (class times are in parenthesis so you know who your team is)  The teams with two dances usually are only about 20 min to 30 min apart so I did not put a new arrival time, they will just stay with me. 

The competition is held in the red barn at Thanksgiving Point.  It literally is a red barn.  Come inside and look for Gotta Dance people, it is all one big room and you will be able to find people.  Please don't be pulling up at the time you are to arrive.  Be in the room finding me.
